From the beginning she helped me understand how to control each pedal and was very patient with me despite my many mistakes, she always helped me understand what i did wrong and always offered excellent support throughout my journey. I struggled with parking but she guided me through each step until i could do it flawlessly. She also allowed me to have a lot of say in the lessons, i would often choose what i wanted to practice and she would help me along with it. I ended up passing in less than 3 months of lessons all thanks to her. Overall an amazing experience with Yodit and SDS driving school.

I've not been very confident while learning to drive and have found other instructors to be impatient at times. I started with SDS only 6 months ago under the guidance of Instrucor Mike and he was excellent as he was patient and very supportive throughout all my lessons which boosted my confidence. He was able to adapt different methods to teach me if I didn’t understand something. He is incredibly experienced, knowledgeable and explained everything clearly. During the start of my driving lessons I was nervous however Instructor Mike pushed me to become more confident whilst driving. From my first lesson I felt comfortable with Instructor Mike as he was very friendly and professional from the start. Maybe you have had a driving lesson in a manual car and found it too difficult, or maybe you have a disability that stands in the way of changing gears. If you recognise yourself on one of those scenarios then maybe an automatic driving test is the better choice.

Pass Plus*

Pass Plus is a short driving course totalling six hours designed to help newly qualified motorists to improve their skills and safety. You can take it any time you have passed your practical driving test but it is usually most beneficial in your first year of driving as most road accidents occur in the first 12 months of a new driver getting their license. The course must be taken with an approved driving instructor. The course isn’t compulsory, and there is no formal test, but to receive a Pass Plus Certificate you will need to have reached the required standard when you’re assessed after each module.
